Mifare chips are produced by NXP, It is the most commonly used chip technology which is very safe and with high security . It allows you to control the access such as loyalty card or public transport ticket. Mifare Smart Card are use High Frequency 13.56Mhz technology and comply with ISO1443 Norm, these cards are standard CR80 size with high quality PVC. Common Mifare cards offered by Goodwin include:

NXP Mifare Classic EV1 1K: The newer EV1 version is completely backwards compatible with Mifare Classic 1k. 1024byte EEPROM and 4 Byte or 7 Byte UID options. Use in ticketing, access control and loyalty applications.

NXP Mifare Classic EV1 4K: EV1 is new version that replacement to the old NXP Mifare Classic 4k, with 4096byte Memory and usually use in access control and ticketing, loyalty applications.

NXP Mifare Ultralight EV1: The new EV1 version replacement to the NXP Mifare Ultralight old one. It completely backwards compatible with all Mifare Ultralight system. The memory have 48Byte or 128Byte with 7 byte UID. This card are often inexpensive and very cost-efficient use in many application such as transportation tickets, event ticketing and hotel access control.

NXP Mifare Ultralight C: NXP Mifare original chip with 192Byte memory 7byte UID. Ultralight C chip is more secure than Ultralight EV1 as it has 3DES authentication. It usually use in transport tickets, lotyalty , even ticketing and prepaid applications.

High Secure chips include:

NXP Mifare Plus S : NXP Mifare Plus original chip gives users much more secure with AES-128 auhentication. Stands for “Slim” and it is the lightweight version of Plus. Mifare Plus S card support 2K and 4K two memory options.

NXP Mifare Plus X: It stands for “eXpert”  and is a full-featured version that provides a full set of Plus security upgrades. However, the NXP Mifare Plus X provide higher security standard due to their Crypto01 and AES encryption. It equipped with a storage capacity of 2048byte or 4096byte.

NXP Mifare Desfire EV1/EV2: The Mifare Desfire EV1/EV2 chip card meets the highest security standards due to its 3DES, DES and AES encryption. The average lifespan of the Mifare Desfire EV1/ EV2 chip card is 500.000 write cycles, which is roughly equivalent to ten years. Therefore, this card is the most durable and largest chip card produced by NXP. The Desfire chip have 2048 byte , 4096 byte and 8192 byte memory options. It widely used in secure payments, transportation and education, and access control.
